Embarking on an academic journey in Civil Engineering, I completed my undergraduate studies at Karadeniz Technical University, Trabzon, from 2011 to 2015. Subsequently, I pursued a Master’s degree at Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, from 2017 to 2019, specializing in advanced concepts of Civil Engineering. Currently, I am dedicated to my Ph.D. studies at Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, since 2019. This ongoing journey signifies a commitment to scholarly excellence and an immersion in cutting-edge research within the field of Civil Engineering, poised to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practical applications in the discipline.
Academic Experience:
Dr. Dinç Şengönül’s academic journey has been characterized by a commitment to research and teaching in the field of Civil Engineering. Currently serving as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Yildiz Technical University since 2017, her dedication to academia has been demonstrated through various roles. Notably, in 2019, Dr. Şengönül embarked on an Erasmus Traineeship as a Visiting Researcher at Politecnico di Milano in Italy, delving into the Department of Architecture, Built Environment, and Construction Engineering. This experience broadened her perspective and enriched her understanding of international practices in Civil Engineering.
