Dr. Hakeem Ullah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM), Pakistan. He earned his M.Phil. in Applied Mathematics in 2010, graduating with distinction. His research interests include applied mathematics and computational techniques. Dr. Hakeem Ullah holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan, Pakistan, completed in 2015 with a CGPA of 3.8/4.0. He earned his M.Phil. in Applied Mathematics from International Islamic University, Islamabad, in 2010, also with a CGPA of 3.8/4.0. His M.Sc. in Mathematics was completed at Gomal University, D.I. Khan, where he secured first position with distinction in 2004. He also holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Peshawar (2002), an F.Sc. in Pre-Engineering (2000), and a Matriculation in Science (1998), both from BISE Peshawar. Additionally, he completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice (PGCHEP) from the University of Bradford, UK, in 2010.

Experience :

Dr. Hakeem Ullah is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Physical and Numerical Sciences, at Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan, Pakistan. Previously, he served as a lecturer and Director of ORIC at NAMAL University, Mianwali, which is associated with the University of Bradford, UK. He also worked as a lecturer at the Muslim Postgraduate College of Commerce and Management, Peshawar.

Research Focus :

Dr. Ullah’s research interests encompass Newtonian and non-Newtonian Fluid Mechanics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Analytical and Numerical Methods for Boundary Value Problems, Neural Network Methods for Fractional Differential Equations, and Bio-Mathematics. He has made significant contributions to artificial intelligence applications in mathematical modeling, particularly neural network methods for solving differential equations.

Awards:

Dr. Ullah has received multiple accolades, including first position in SSC and second position in M.Sc. at Gomal University. He was also the top achiever in PGCHEP at the University of Bradford, UK. He has been recognized with a punctuality and responsibility certificate from the Vice Chancellor and was awarded the title of “Best Student of the Year.” Additionally, he is an HEC-approved Ph.D. supervisor.
