Prof. Wang Guobiao is a distinguished scholar in mechanical engineering, a Professor and PhD Supervisor at Tianjin University, and Executive Vice President and Legal Representative of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. He earned his doctorate in mechanical engineering following his undergraduate studies and postdoctoral research, and has held key academic and administrative positions at leading Chinese universities as well as senior leadership roles at the National Natural Science Foundation of China. His research spans laser manufacturing, additive manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing, and advanced equipment design, fields in which he has led numerous national and regional research and development projects and guided significant innovation. He has published more than  547 citations from 530 documents, 46 indexed publications, and an h-index of 10, reflecting his academic impact.
